Presently we are working under the project “Badhtey Kadam-Dasha ko Disha” in alliance with Smile Foundation India, New Delhi which consists in organizing educational programme and health camp & also vocational training courses. The Academy has launched its own scheme “Berozgar ko Rozgar” under which the unemployed youth differently enabled persons and the helpless aged persons are insisted by way of credit to run their own ventures like shop, service centres and vending stalls.

The Academy which at present thrives on a single major donor (Smile Foundation India) and a few small donations from individuals including own contributions from the fabrication workshop run by the Founder President urgently needs financial support from all those who sincerely wish to help the children from poor families come up in life as accomplished citizens, make the women empowered, differently enabled adequately self-dependent youth gainful employed and the helpless elderly persons live a life of dignity.

Your donations will provide buildings to students who currently attend classes in the open, regular support to expert faculty for vocational training; qualified development professionals to better manage and escalate the micro credit and development research activities. Your support will be duly acknowledged and you will be posted with the impact created by your compassionate giving donation to the academy are exempted under Income Tax Act (1861), Section 12 (A) & 80G. The Academy has registration under FCRA Act (1979).

Where do we go from here?

We look forward to:

  1. Creating many more Educational Centres for slum and working children.
  2. Creating Vocational Training Centres for the unemployed including women, differently enabled and helpless aged.
  3. Establishing women’s short stay homes in urban areas.
  4. Establishing marketing arrangement for the products made by our beneficiary groups.
  5. Establishing a Publication and Information Resource Centre for bringing our IEC materials and books on developments issues.
  6. Establishing a regular centre imparting awareness on health and facilities for health check up and counselling as also organizing health camps on a regular basis spread out in wider areas.

Impact of Support

Anju

A girl from extremely poor family of Gazipur village could not have contributed her primary education for lack of money. She supported her family income by working as young maid servant. She was enrolled by the academy. Now Anju having passed High School scoring with 53% marks and Intermediate with 52% marks. Now she has M.A. and also doing service in Private Hospital and earning Rs. 7000/- per month. “I could not have dreamt of standing on my own feel thanks to the timely guidance received by me from the academy” says a confident Anju when asked about the role of Jupiter Academy in her life.

A boy from poor family where both parents worked to eke our living and upbringing of 7 children. In 1998 Ram Dheeraj in success came to the fabricating shop of the Founder President asking for a manual job. Apart from extending financial support to the family without engaging the boy as paid labour, the academy adopted him as a student, who has now qualified High School (Science) with 66% of marks and Intermediate (Science) with 61% marks.
