Health Program 

The over all objectives of health programmers have been Promotion of positive health, prevention of diseases, early diagnosis-treatment and follow up of disease and provision of healthy environment. To achieve the objectives of our health programmers we have two pivotal components health Education and health camp we recognize that attainment of health indicators have been very un even across the rural –urban divide. Access of public health services is nominal and health standard grossly inadequate for the vulnerable sections of the society. Details of Health Camp Organized in Different Centers

Total number of health camps: 20 Centers: Amrapali, Sammaudipur, Takrohi and Sidhauli.Children were examined by the panel of doctors. Doctors have told them about general health, cleanliness, prevention from the diseases and causes of diseases and balance diet. Children who have some problems related to their eyes and teeth were told to have some test. ENT camp was also organized where we have found many children whose eyes were weak. Doctor has told them to take rich and balanced diet to keep the eye sight strong. Doctor has told them to take black pepper in their meals to keep their eyes healthy. Some exercise for eyes were also practiced in their camp. Some eye drops, medicines and prescription were given to them. Jupiter Academy have organized dental check-up camp also, as many children are having teeth problems. Dentist has examined them. Not too many children were found to have some major problems. Doctors have told them how to brush their teeth with brush or Datoon. Children were amazed to know how to brush their teeth as so many of them were using wrong method to clean their teeth. Many children have Ear problem also at least 20 children were found whose ear have problem of Ear discharge.

Observation: Doctors have told us that these children have general problems, protein energy male nutrition, and lack of Iron etc. Parents were advised to give their children healthy diets consisting of green vegetables, seasonal fruits. They have also told to keep their surrounding clean and hygienic. Children were told to take their meal after hand wash and to keep their nails clean because unclean nails let the germs to enter their body. Children and parent have taken keen interest on advice of the doctor. They have asked some question from the doctors as what precaution should be taken if some one of family got some infectious disease such as chicken pox, measles mums etc. Doctors have advised them to keep the room clean and told them not to paint it with cow’s dung as it is harmful. To keep the patient cloth clean and wash them separately. Doctors have also advised them to drink clean water and keep their surrounding clean and hygienic. Our motivators have also motivated them about hygiene and cleanliness.
